IS THERE A WRONG WAY OF PRAYING?

"When you pray, do not use many words, as do those who do not truly know God. They believe that because they talk a lot, God will pay more attention to them. Do not imitate them, because God our Father knows what you need, even before you ask him". Mathew 6: 7-8.

Nobody knows your life better than God, he created you and knows about you since the creation of the world, you are part of his wonderful plan on this earth, and he created you with a purpose. Today I want to talk to you about how to pray? A prayer is a powerful tool in the life of every human being, it is an intimate open-hearted dialogue with God, where we recognize our weakness and need for Him, either in a moment of difficulty or to thank him for his grace.

Jesus taught his disciples to pray like this:

“‘Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come,

you will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one"

Lord's Prayer is a perfect prayer that Jesus taught us, where he exalts the greatness and grace of God, as well as the importance of gratitude and forgiveness. From that precious prayer, we can pray with our words thanking and asking God for strength at all times.

Where to start?

"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you" Mathew 6:6

The importance of praying in secret enriches our relationship with God and our unity with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is a moment of intimacy where God wants to hear you. It is not that God does not know what we want to say, because he knows all our needs even before we can say them, But he delights in listening to you! . Go confidently into his presence. He wants to listen to your heart and heal you, Approach Him with confidence, knowing that there is nothing in this world or outside of it that can separate you from the love of God that is through Christ Jesus.

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears of today nor our concerns of tomorrow. Not even the powers of hell can separate us from the love of God. No power in the heights or in the depths, in fact, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God, which is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord" Roman8: 38-39

What is the SECRET FORMULA to pray for?

You will be surprised to know that there is no secret formula to approach God, but if there is a way and it is Jesus, who intercedes for us before God, we are certainly not worthy of being heard by the one who created the heavens and the earth, but only one JESUS can bring us closer to Him. Jesus has already prayed for you because of what you are going to go through this year. In fact, right now Jesus is in Heaven, praying for his children. He is interceding for you, it means that he is speaking with God on your behalf.

If you still don't know how to start, here I tell you how I do it:

Thank you Father for hearing my prayer, your word says, that you do not embarrass those who trust in you. My faith is placed in you and in Jesus, who is your son and was the word from the beginning of time and is one with you. Thank you Father I give you knowing that your will is perfect and pleasant and you only want the best for me.

Forgive me and change me every day to be able to love as you love, forgive as you forgive, and look with eyes of grace and love at others, as you look at me.
