WEAKNESS TURNED TO STRENGTH

The word weakness in Hebrew means חולשה, helplessness and total confusion. These two states represent the opposite that God wants for us, Instead, he desires that we live in harmony and continual communication with him, discovering in Jesus the peace that this world is unable to provide - because we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ -, peace in itself is not the absence of difficulties but is the fulfillment of the promise and faithfulness that "God will be with us until the end of the world" (Matthew 28:16-20).
In Romans 5:6, it says: "You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly" the Lord loved us even when we were weak, even in our human nature, He knew of this weakness since Eden, but HIM, who is infinitely kind and loving is moved by compassion for his creation, to the point of taking the form of a man to atone for our sins and find our redemption through faith in Jesus Christ. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and ALL your house will be saved”. (Acts 16:31)
God does not call us to be weak, this means not to live with helplessness, and worrying about everything, but rather to ask him in prayer and thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6) in order to surrender our lives, completely to him, to live with what is important, but above all with what is necessary, which is to live in his presence, in order to be changed into the perfect image of Christ. Nor do He call us to live in total confusion; This world that is always demanding more and more from us every day to live according to its standards, seeks to make us fulfill absurd expectations, running towards a goal that has no end, accumulating wealth where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves undermine and steal, and others take advantage of the effort of your work. I'll give you this example:
Let's say that we are driving on a road when all of a sudden there is cloud cover, making it impossible for us to see or drive. We are left with two choices: either we stop moving or we drive very slowly. How would you respond? Half of the drivers would choose to halt and wait for clear visibility, while the other half would have faith in their ability to drive and would press on until the fog lifted. Finding the light and getting to the exit are the same objectives in both situations. However, it is up to each of us to move toward the light in order to reveal our ignorance and powerlessness. The Light Comes to Expose All Darkness.

God loves to choose the weak and the foolish, because when we are weak, he promises that his grace, which is in Christ Jesus who is the light of the world, will be sufficient for us, so that we can learn to glory in our weaknesses because He is strengthened in the midst of them (1 Corinthians 1:27-31, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10). As a result, in order to change from the inside out and put our shame before God, we must continually bring our weaknesses to Christ.(Genesis 3:8-21) and false beliefs about our identity, and finding a quiet refuge in Jesus.
God invites us to draw closer to him every day in the Book of James 4: 8-10 says: “Draw near to God, and God will draw near to you. Wash your hands, sinners; Purify your heart, because your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Shed tears for what you have done. Let there be regret and deep pain. Let there be tears instead of laughter and sadness instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will raise you up with honor."
God promises us that if we approach him with a humble and repentant heart he will raise us with honor. We have a prime example on King David; although he was weak and sinned, God still declared that he was according to his heart . (Hebrews 13:22). Nothing is able to change the truth that God loves you, Jesus compassionately intervened on our behalf without waiting for us to "get better" or "fix ourselves." On the contrary. Jesus demonstrates his love for us by giving his life for YOU AND ME, at our lowest point.
Give yourself authority to trust this reality once more if you ever feel insecure. Because it is all about who JESUS is and his unwavering love, Christ's love for you is not based on your deeds or how "good" you are, titles you hold, or the good actions you perform for others. Remind yourself that Christ's love for you is permanent and enough in every moment of weakness. You can't do anything to lessen his love for you. Honesty and belief. Amen.
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love for us, made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in sins. By grace you have been saved!" Ephesians 2:4-5
With love,
JOJO
